Dreams Do Come True!

It was time for Latanya Loftin, a school teacher, two years new to Charlotte, to leave her apartment and find her first home. Latanya was referred to my firm, J. P. Walker Realty, by a family member. I have been helping clients find property in the Charlotte Metro area of NC for over seventeen years and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to help Latanya find her perfect home.

I immediately got started on the home purchasing process with Latanya after being informed that her lease agreement would end soon. Latanya talked to me about the kind of payment she needed and the funds she had available for the purchase.

I searched out several banks for the programs that would fit Latanya’s needs and referred her to them, but in the end; one of the banks had a program that was very suitable for Latanya. The Down Payment Assistance program introduced to Latanya by Daryl Watson with Monarch Mortgage, had everything. This program, allowed Latanya to have the low payments she wanted as well as give her the additional money she needed to pay for closing costs and down payment.

Working with Latanya to fine tune my search, I previewed a home that seemed perfect for her. I wasted no time in letting Latanya know about the great new home that would meet all of her requirements and much more. Latanya was able to see the home that afternoon and was very excited about it. A price was agreed upon that kept her within her desired budget and the offer to contract was accepted.

Mortgage consultant Daryl Watson, informed Latanya every step of the way on her loan and any details she would need to handle in the process. The mortgage was quickly processed and the closing went without a hitch!

Latanya was very pleased with the loan process. The Down Payment Assistance Program with Monarch Mortgage was effortless and met all of her needs. Now Latanya has a beautiful home in a great location with loads of bells and whistles plus she was able to save money on her home purchase. Now that’s a win, win!
